Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, people! This is Menni, who totally didn’t just remember (five minutes ago) that she should probably do a post for Easter. Given what an important holiday it is and all. How could I possible forget to post? Or fail to come up with a coherent plan for said post?

Anyways, happy Easter! Christ is risen! (Whenever I hear that or see it written, my brain—without even consulting me first—immediately goes “He is risen indeed!” That’s what comes of seventeen years of Easter services, I suppose 😂)

Easter! Eggs! Bunnies! Empty tombs! (Well, “empty tomb” singular, really. But that didn’t sound right next to the plural “eggs” and “bunnies”.)

Okay. Um. I guess I don’t really have anything to say? What I do have is “The Strife Is O’er” stuck in my head. And hey, it turns out that’s one of the hymns you can google and actually get consistent lyrics for! So if you want to know what the lyrics are, just search “the strife is o’er” and anything that comes up as a song with that title should be correct.
